VTPC: a website and client portal for NRC Vaivari

VTPC, the state-funded assistive device centre of NRC Vaivari, needed one place where people find wheelchairs, prostheses and other devices, apply for them and book a visit. Following a public tender, we handled the website development from scratch on Drupal 10, with a custom theme and a client portal: clients sign in with Latvija.lv, apply online and book visits in free times taken live from MediCloud. The VTPC team builds its own pages in Latvian and English.

A client portal with Latvija.lv sign-in

Clients sign in with Latvija.lv; the first sign-in creates their account. They book a visit in four steps, with free times taken live from MediCloud, and fill in 26 application and measurement forms online, with a PDF or DOCX copy to download. Personal data is encrypted, and the VTPC team edits the forms and email templates in the admin. Planning a similar project? Let’s talk about your project.

A dashboard for every client

The dashboard opens with the client's bookings and the forms their service needs, with the profile and a portal FAQ one click away. A short identification code, built without look-alike characters, shows only when the client asks for it.

Booking in four steps

Clients book the specific VTPC service they need online, such as a device pick-up, a repair or a home visit. Four short steps take them through the service, the branch, a free date and time, and their details.

26 forms, grouped by service

Application, questionnaire and measurement forms sit under the service they belong to. A client's earlier submissions stay one click away, and any form downloads as PDF or DOCX. The VTPC team edits the forms in the admin.
