The Riviera home page on a laptop on a white-linen restaurant table by candlelight

Riviera: a website for a Mediterranean restaurant

Riviera serves Mediterranean cooking in the centre of Rīga, and its site has to carry the menu, the team, table booking and gift cards in English, Latvian and Russian. FORGET built it as a custom WordPress theme of 14 blocks, with the menu kept as content of its own: every section, dish and price is a field the team edits in the admin, linked to its Latvian and Russian twin. Visitors filter the menu by category, and buy gift cards online.

Gift cards for any amount up to €2,000

Buyers pick one of seven set amounts or type their own, in whole euros up to €2,000, and the card preview fills in with the recipient, the sender and a message as they type. Payment runs through Stripe Checkout in the buyer's language, and the card arrives by e-mail as a numbered PDF. The team sets the amounts, e-mail texts and FAQ for each language in the admin, and can resend any card from there.
